The Ampco Flashlight studio’s
Rehearse in a large, isolated studio with all technical facilities at your fingertips? Have the sound engineer pre-mix or program in their own studio? Allow the lighting designers to prepare and render their shows? Host a meet & greet with fans or the press? In our building at Proostwetering in Utrecht, you can access our fully equipped studio spaces (acoustically separated, so making noise is allowed), our highly photogenic hall/lobby, and our company restaurant, with the option to supplement your setup with materials of your choice. If desired, studio 2 can be set up as a studio/mixing room, allowing technicians to prepare in a separate space. Centrally located on the A2 in Utrecht, our building offers excellent accessibility with plenty of free parking. The studios are easily accessible from the loading docks.
Studio Setup
Standard work lighting is available in the studio. There is no standard sound system, but it can be provided upon request. Additional or alternative lighting can also be arranged.
With the use of hoists on trolleys, lights, sound, or set pieces can be easily hung at various locations. This, of course, is subject to consultation and approval due to roof load capacity.
Is there dancing in the studio? We recommend bringing a Marley floor to prevent slipping. If we can arrange this for you, please let us know.

**Studio 2:**
16 x 12 m, with ample power supply, directly accessible from the loading dock. Like Studio 1, this studio is acoustically separated from the rest of the building, allowing for loud preparations to take place here as well. It can also be used as an extension to Studio 1 as a control room, command center, or space to prepare equipment.
**Studio 3: WYSIWYG Studio**
6 x 6 m, blackout. In our WYSIWYG studio, lighting designers and technicians can work in a separate space on preparation and simulation of the light show.
**Press Presentations, Promotional Films**
We regularly host press presentations, promotional films, behind-the-scenes meetings, or recordings for broadcasters. We are happy to assist you with these – ask about the possibilities!
**Dressing Room**
Studio 1 has a modest separate dressing room, and there is also the option to use a separate space as a production office.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday:
The studio is open during office hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. If you wish to use our studio outside these hours, separate arrangements can be made.
Saturday & Sunday:
Our building is usually closed. However, if you would like to use the studio, separate arrangements can be made.
Catering
Various (takeaway) restaurants and delivery services are available nearby, with a food court located 1 KM away.
