1996: Opening Amsterdam (Johan Cruijff) ArenA
1992 - 2001
The opening of the ArenA consisted of two major events: The openings – show with a massive in the round – PA and a classical concert as part of the Amsterdam Uitmarkt.
The acoustical challenges of the stadium were catered for by 16 clusters of flown Synco STS clusters, all powered by Crest amps. Head audio designer was Dick Scheepbouwer. For the concert the PA system was converted into a big L/R system.
